Kitty Kinnin - March 20th, 2013
She married, had a son, and eventually moved to Raleigh and began her very-popular Sunday Jazz Brunch in addition to hosting middays for 12 years at the album rock station, WRDU. Since then, Kitty has worked for WZZU, FOXY 107/104, spent several years in Wilmington as TV personality on WWAY-TV as well as hosting non-profit documentaries and working on PR/Marketing campaigns. Several years ago Kitty moved back to Raleigh to continue pursuing her freelance voiceover business and landed the gig at WRVA as morning show host and the eclectic Sunday Brunch which includes her Chef Series. (Kitty’s a fanatical foodie.
Kitty is extremely dedicated to the community. She’s on the board of Kids are Something Special and donates her time to various charities such as Interact of Wake County (raising money from her own coffee blend from Larry’s Beans), Go Red for Women, Walk for Hope, The Frankie Lemmon Organization, Triangle Family Services, pet adoptions and many others.
In her spare time Kitty enjoys live music, traveling, cooking, hiking, dancing, and spending time with her beloved rescue dogs, Nugget and Ella.
